A Military Engagement Session at Boone Hall Plantation

May 26, 2014

First I would like to say thank you to all the people that serve in our military, their families that sacrifice daily, and especially to those that lost their lives. I have no clue what it’s like to serve this country the way that you do and I am beyond grateful for you all. No amount of “thank you’s” could cover it…. I pray we (I) show this gratitude in many ways all year long and not just one day.

As many of you know I’ve had a contest for the past 2 years and I’ve given away a full wedding package including an engagement session. Well my first winning couple Kaitlyn and Wade blew up the internet with their votes. While all the “contestants” were amazing I find that this couple was quite deserving. Wade had to deploy shortly after proposing to Kaitlyn. I can’t imagine the excitement of being engaged and wedding planning all while being so vastly separated. So when I found out they had won by a landslide I was so excited. Since today is Memorial day I thought I’d share their super cute engagement session with you all. Kaitlyn wanted part of their session to represent the military side of their relationship. When she pulled out a flag and said she had an idea of what to do with it—I was thrilled. We wrapped them in the flag which of course made for a super cute photo. These guys are way adorable—flag or no flag. Take a look!
