So it really hasn’t been that long since the last big giveaway, but I really wanted to do another one. My plan is to make this an annual giveaway as part of whatever bridal show I might be doing. So the January Charleston Bridal Show is coming up and I thought why not give away another wedding package? I love weddings and I love hearing about couples and how they met/proposed and how they’re planning their wedding. Okay this is what we will be doing. The winner will be based on how you answer the questionnaire that you fill out as well as reader votes. Follow the steps below to enter the contest. Once you’ve done that and entered by January 19th, then you wait. Jeanne will sort through the (hopefully) many entries and choose 5 lucky people to be voted on based on their answers to the questions. From there you’ll see another blog post about the contest the following week and readers will have the opportunity to vote on a couple based on the wedding they’re having and why they feel they should win. To enter, you must be engaged and having a 2014/2015 wedding that will take place in the Low-country – Hilton Head, Charleston, Myrtle beach or any place between these areas. Areas outside of this will be considered, but travel & shipping fees will apply. One entry per engaged couple. You must be 18 years or older to enter. You must submit the questionnaire and a photo, and comment on the lovely find’s blog to enter.
1. No purchase required to enter.
2. Any personal information provided to Jeanne Mitchum, Blue Planet Green Events or Borrowed & Blue will only be used to contact the winning couple. No solicitations will occur. No contact information will be shared with any other persons or entity.
3. The wedding photography package is valued at $4,000. The giveaway includes 8-hours of wedding photography coverage, an engagement session, a bridal session, and an online gallery of the edited images at hi-resolution for personal use downloading and sharing. Home Use Rights is given to the winning couple granting permission to print images and give photos to friends and family. Blue Planet Green Events package valued at $500. Given the value of the giveaway, you may be required to report the value of this package on personal income taxes. Please review South Carolina’s state income tax regulations. 7 The winning couple must sign a photography contract with Jeanne Mitchum. This contract will be provided to the couple after contacting them. The winning couple will have 2-weeks to sign and return the contract or forfeit the wedding photography package they won in the giveaway.

Five finalists will be selected by Jeanne Mitchum sometime during the month of January and announced on Facebook no later than February 2nd 2014. Those five will then be voted on in a blog post (Voting will end Feb 14th) and the final winner will be announce no later than February 16th. If the winning couple cannot claim the prize for any reason, the runners-up will be awarded the prize at the discretion of the photographer. The prize and discounts awarded cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any other item or service. In the sad event that the winning couples wedding is cancelled, the winnings will be forfeited and no transfers can be made.
