A while back I wrote about Mandy and Brian, their engagement session, and how Mandy and I have managed to cross paths a few times in life. You can read about it here. I feel like I had been impatiently waiting for this Summer wedding to get here all year (I’m sure I wasn’t the only one). It’s always a unique experience photographing the wedding of someone you’ve known for a while and I was beyond thrilled to get to do that for Mandy. I arrived at Mandy’s mom’s house on Isle of Palms and was greeted at the door by the cutest dog. I absolutely LOVE dogs and any wedding day that starts out with super cute pups is the best in my book! Mandy was super calm and seemed to be quite happy that this day had arrived (what bride wouldn’t be?). As usual, I snagged some shots of the girls getting dolled up for the day and afterward we headed to the Citadel Beach House for a beautiful ceremony on the lawn. I love a wedding that is so care free that the bride’s veil can come off twice during the ceremony and everyone can just laugh about it, including the bride. Yes, that happened. From uncooperative veils and photos of the wedding party running on the beach to a celebration that ended in bubbles—I’d say this day was quite perfect! Take a look….
