Old Wide Awake Plantation Wedding

July 18, 2015

Oh this wedding!! The cutest outdoor, beautiful plantation, and homey feeling kind of wedding. I love Old Wide Awake Plantation for that reason. The house is beautiful and perfect for a wedding party to get ready in. It feels like home once you walk in and get settled. The lawn is beautiful and perfect for a ceremony by the gorgeous pond that the house overlooks. If you’ve not been there check it out sometime. I had such a blast working with Jordan and Kyle (and their families) on their wedding day.  I got to the plantation house just in time for it to down pour which really didn’t seem to faze Jordan a whole lot. She seemed a tad worried, mostly about her programs that were left out to get wet. Her bridesmaids braved the rain and ran out there to rescue them. That’s what bridesmaids are for right? There were talks of moving the ceremony and the dance floor but in the end the rain stopped and Jordan and Kyle got the wedding that they had planned for all along. It was a perfect day. From the ceremony out on the lawn, their handmade favors (made by the bride) to the personalized corn-hole game and cafe lighting over the dance floor this wedding was the perfect setting for Kyle and Jordan who really just wanted to have a party with their friends and family. A fantastic party it was! Take a look!
