It’s only day 2 of 2013 and I am pumped for this new year. There’s a couple of reasons. I am full of joy, completely blessed, and overwhelmed with great things. The reason why I titled this “out with the old and in with the new” (cheesy I know) is because my website is currently getting a long awaited makeover. Yes, that’s right—new year and a new website—I couldn’t be more excited! Along with that comes a new logo and some new branding. This all came along right at the same time I decided to do the bridal show in Charleston (also a very new thing to me). Some of you may already know this but,  I won the billboard contest for The Charleston Bridal show. That means that my lovely image from Josh and Christie’s wedding (see image below) is showcased on two billboards in town right now and have been for almost a month. Yippee!! Attending the bridal show meant that I needed a new look. When I saw that the uber talented Stephanie from Scribble Different was doing a contest for a website makeover, I quickly submitted and of course didn’t think I would win. Boy was I wrong, I won!! The person that “never wins anything” surely hit it off big this year!! I am truly grateful for all the work that Stephanie is doing and has done and super blessed to be spotlighted in such a way in Charleston. Entering this new year in this way feels amazing and I can’t thank the people enough that have helped me along the way. From the people cheering me on—encouraging me—loving me through the seasons and supporting me, to the ones referring me to new clients and passing my name around, and  the ones currently helping me build/put together—what I hope will be—a super fabulous bridal show booth—I cannot thank you enough!! Thank you thank you thank a million times! I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! You all are amazing! To Stephanie for building such a beautiful website—thanks for putting up with me, for running a contest, for choosing me, and for being so creative!!
