When I did my annual wedding giveaway last year I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph two extremely dynamic people who won my contest. Sujata, a news reporter and Jacob a meteorologist, first met through a mutual friend in Maryland and they were instantly friends.  Since Jacob is Catholic and Sujata was raised Hindu the couple decided to fuse the two together for their wedding day. Stay tuned for a blog post about their spectacular wedding. It was tricky planning their Charleston engagement session because Sujata lives in Charleston and Jacob does not. We planned their session for a weekend that he would be in town and we had a blast walking around beautiful downtown Charleston. The weather threatened to rain the entire time, but that didn’t stop us from taking many photos and heading to the beach for a few more right before the clouds let loose. Take a look….
