I am doing a giveaway and I couldn’t be more EXCITED!!!!!!!

As some of you know I participated in the Charleston Bridal show this past January and with much success with the first show I’ve decided to do it again. It really was a blast and if you are getting married I highly recommend checking it out. As part of the August 4th, 2013 show, I want to do a super awesome giveaway. I have partnered up with The Lovely Find (a fabulous wedding blog, please go read it, but not yet) to help me promote this huge giveaway. That’s right huge. Let me get right to it…. for one lovely couple you will win photography coverage by me and my awesome second shooter for your fabulous wedding day. That’s right you get us for free for the day. Along with that I am giving you an engagement session, a bridal session and all your digital files in a beautiful online gallery for sharing with friends and family. How does that sound? Good? So you want to enter right? Okay this is what we will be doing. The winner will be based on how you answer the questionnaire that you fill out as well as reader votes. Follow the steps below to enter the contest. Once you’ve done that and entered by August 9th, then you wait. Jeanne will sort through the (hopefully) many entries and choose 5 lucky people to be voted on based on their answers to the questions. From there you’ll see another blog post about the contest the following week and readers will have the opportunity to vote on a lovely couple based on the wedding they’re having and why they feel they should win. now for legal “fun” stuff….

To enter, you must be engaged and having a 2014 wedding that will take place in the Low-country – Hilton Head, Charleston, Myrtle beach or any place between these areas. Areas outside of this will be considered, but travel fees will apply. One entry per engaged couple. You must be 18 years or older to enter. You must submit the questionnaire and a photo, and comment on the lovely find’s blog to enter.

1. No purchase required to enter.

2. Any personal information provided to Jeanne Mitchum, Wildflowers Inc or TLF will only be used to contact the winning couple. No solicitations will occur. No contact information will be shared with any other persons or entity.

3. The wedding photography package is valued at $4,000. The giveaway includes 8-hours of wedding photography coverage, an engagement session, a bridal session, and an online gallery of the edited images at hi-resolution for personal use downloading and sharing. Home Use Rights is given to the winning couple granting permission to print images and give photos to friends and family. Wildflowers Inc package valued at $750. Given the value of the giveaway, you may be required to report the value of this package on personal income taxes. Please review South Carolina’s state income tax regulations. TLF, Wildflowers Inc, and Jeanne Mitchum Photography are not liable for any negligence or evasion of the winning couple in reporting or claiming the value of the wedding photography giveaway.

4. Travel fees or on-location fees may apply and are not included in the giveaway package.

5. In the case of technical errors, the contest will be extended to ensure each participant receives sufficient time to submit to the contest which ends at 11:59pm August 9th. If you experience technical problems, please notify Jeanne Mitchum immediately.

6 TLF will receive exclusive publication of images by Jeanne Mitchum of the winning couple’s wedding. Jeanne Mitchum along with Wildflowers Inc will also have the rights to publish these images.

7 The winning couple must sign a photography contract with Jeanne Mitchum. This contract will be provided to the couple after contacting them. The winning couple will have 2-weeks to sign and return the contract or forfeit the wedding photography package they won in the giveaway.

By entering the contest, you promise that all information submitted by you is true, current, and complete.

All entries must be submitted electronically via www.thelovelygiveaway.jeannemitchum.com site and email on or before 11:59pm, August 9th, 2013. Late entries will not be accepted. Incomplete entries will not be accepted..

The TFL, Wildflowers Inc, or the photographer are not responsible for any malfunction or failure to perform of any email service, website or device.

Entries for weddings on dates for which Jeanne Mitchum Photography is previously committed will not be eligible. Paid bookings that occur prior to and during the contest will super-cede contest entries. That means if my calendar shows I’m available when you enter the contest, if another couple books me at any point during the contest, you will become ineligible (sorry,I have a business to run and a dog to feed).

Five finalists will be selected by Jeanne Mitchum sometime during the month of August and announced on Facebook no later than August 19th. Those five will then be voted on in a blog post (Voting will end August 23rd) and the final winner will be announce no later than August 24th. If the winning couple cannot claim the prize for any reason, the runners-up will be awarded the prize at the discretion of the photographer. The prize and discounts awarded cannot be sold, traded, transferred, or exchanged for cash or any other item or service. In the sad event that the winning couples wedding is cancelled, the winnings will be forfeited and no transfers can be made.

The Lovely Find and Wildflowers Inc is not involved in the creation or outcome of this contest.
