Isle of Palms Engagement Session

April 15, 2015

Life can be really interesting and kinda funny sometimes. I’ve met A LOT of people over the years through the various jobs I’ve had (especially my current one), school, and the volunteer work I do. It’s funny how sometimes those people that you meet along the way just keep popping back into your life through different avenues. Mandy is one of those people. I first met her while in college. We both attended the College of Charleston and we were both in the theater department. I worked in the costume shop and she did some acting….some fabulous acting I might add. I never quite got to know Mandy that well in college, but I certainly ran into her a few times while working on different shows and I probably had to measure her for a costume a time or two. After graduating everyone naturally goes their separate ways and I kinda feel like you don’t really expect to see these people later in life. It’s just the way it is. Totally not the case here, our paths crossed a couple of times.  Once while working at the same Starbucks and then again when we discovered we went to the same church (it’s a big church). Mandy is just one of those sweet people you meet in life that you never forget. She’s super nice, funny and has just the best bubbly personality! Mandy is engaged and here we are meeting again on one of life’s paths—this time it’s a big path! I’m thrilled that Mandy has chosen me as her photographer. Mandy had some help in choosing a photographer from her sister—who happens to be a fantastic photographer—and I was happy to find out that she too enjoys my work. It’s always nice to know that a fellow photographer approves! Mandy and Brian happen to love the beach so it’s no surprise that not only did we do their engagement session at Mandy’s childhood beach home, but their wedding will be at the Citadel Beach House this July. Stay tuned for that! In the mean time, check out their engagement session.
