Around here, I have heard that our sunsets are not as good as they are in other places. Well I say to that, what about that awesome sunset last week? It was marvelous!!! I couldn’t even capture it’s beauty with my camera or phone no matter how hard I tried. So I stopped and just took in it’s beauty. There’s something kinda awesome about just stopping and marveling at God’s work knowing that it’s about to be gone in a matter of minutes. As much as I wanted to get THE best shot of it, there’s no way I or anyone could replicate what was there in reality. The colors were too brilliant! No matter the super awesome camera and the skills I might think I have as a photographer, there’s just no way to do it. I think there’s a reason for it. I truly believe God gives us these things in order for us to just stop briefly and enjoy. Whatever that looks like for you is fine…but just stopping what you are doing for a brief time to take in something like this is important in our busy lives—I think that’s what it’s there for. We all need a break from life even if it is just a few minutes to watch the sunset. I could go into more detail about it but that may be a later post.  For now, here are my attempts at capturing what I saw:
