Back in July I had the honor of photographing a stunning bride named Emily. When Emily and Brian first approached me about photographing their Summer wedding in Charleston I was so thrilled. I remembered meeting Emily at church during a huge Easter production we were doing called The Thorn. Emily is a dancer and she’s got a sweetness about her that photographs so well. The three of us met at a Starbucks and the more I got to know the two of them I got even more excited about the images we would capture. Emily mentioned a vintage military theme for a portion of their engagement session, and I jumped at the idea! More on that in a later post. Her bridal portrait session was at the fabulous Legare Waring House in Charleston, SC. It’s a spectacular wedding venue with just the most magnificent backdrops gallore for photos. It’s truly one of my favorite Charleston wedding venues. Emily’s wedding dress matched her cute vintage style and coordinated well with the decor of the house. We had so much fun doing this shoot depsite the Charleston typical blazing summer heat! Take a look!
